We have vacancies for brass instruments and also welcome enquiries from woodwind players.   If you play to a reasonable standard (or can do when you’re back in practice) and you’d like to join a friendly and supportive local band, please fill in the form on the Join Us page to contact us.We welcome players of all wind-band instruments.  At the moment we are actively looking for players of Trombone, Tuba or String Bass (upright/electric).

There are no auditions, but you need to be of a reasonable standard (ideally around grade 5 or above, although we welcome players wishing to get back into playing and improve their standard), good at sight-reading and adaptable to a variety of musical styles.
